What data we collect
Golazo does not collect any personally identifiable information. We do not require an account, email address, or any form of registration.
Local storage
Your game progress, scores, and streak are stored only in your browser's local storage (keys prefixed golazo:). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
Analytics
We use two cookieless analytics tools that collect no personal data:
- Vercel Analytics — records page views using anonymised, aggregated data with no cookies and no fingerprinting.
- PostHog — configured with
persistence: 'memory', meaning no cookies are written and no data persists between sessions. Only anonymous game events (e.g. "day completed") are captured.
No consent banner is required under UK/EU GDPR because no cookies are set and no personal data is processed.
Third-party services
The app is hosted on Vercel. Vercel's infrastructure may log standard server access data (IP address, request timestamps) as part of normal CDN operation. See Vercel's Privacy Policy for details.
Cookies
We do not set any cookies.
